Key responsibilities
Prepare sales objectives and territory sales plan
- Work closely with Corporate Sales Head to optimize performance and maximize the overall efficiency through development and pre-qualification of leads.
- Attain in-depth understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas in line with the Blue Ocean Strategy that helps to grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth.
- Conduct extensive research and analyze the economic conditions, prevailing business activities such as industry trends and competition to identify new opportunities.
- Build mutually beneficial and strong working relationship with existing customers and prospects for cross-selling and up-selling.
- Maintain consistent communication and timely follow-up with existing customers and prospects and responsive to customer’s real-time needs.
- Liaison with cross-functional teams (Ops, IT, Finance and others) to deliver efficient service to the customers and develops strategies to maximize TCS’s visibility.
- Prepare Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQ’s), Invitation to Tenders (RFQs/RFPs/EOI) and tender documents in alignment with customer requirements.
- Manage renewal of contract with revised rate of existing customers.
- Prepare sales activity reports, proposals and presentations in a timely manner.
- Monitor and review monthly dashboard and takes appropriate action.
Knowledge
- Knowledge of courier and logistics industry
- Knowledge of market competition
- Understanding of Sales Management software and tools
- Hands-on in sales report writing and data analysis
- Understanding of revenue generation and project management
