Supply Chain Officer / Trainee

Responsibilities:   Reporting to Manager Supply Chain. Follow and Manage supply chain strategy and operations. Develop and Analyze database of all suppliers and regularly update yarn price lists. Track records of all FOC yarn samples. Monitor logistics to ensure smooth deliveries and exports to customers. Maintain supply chain inventory and records with gate inward/outward sheet. Find cost-effective solutions and negotiate prices and services. Resolve issues, e.g., delays in delivery, etc. Collaborate with other departments to follow and manage coordinated plans for business growth and increase profitability. Develop and implement safety guidelines in all aspects of the supply chain (e.g., use of trucks and vehicles). Ensure supply chain processes meet legal requirements and standards. Communicate and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to land more profitable deals. Coordinate with spinning mills to expedite the production time. Timely respond to all email communication and update on the status on daily basis.
