Job Description:
- Receive and update Inventory information for each Stock Keeping Units (SKUs) within area of responsibility including:
- Quantities (available and reserved) in Amazon Fulfilment Centers (FCs)
- Quantities at warehouses and Third-Party Logistics (3PLs)
- Quantities in Transit (Air freight or Sea freight) and estimated arrival dates
- Quantities in Production and Estimated Ready to Ship dates
- Historical sales data adjusted for out of stock or suspension periods
- Forecasted sales data including promotions, special sales events, holidays, etc.
2. Analyze inventory data and collaborate with the Senior Inventory Planner for each SKU within area of responsibility to provide:
a) Inventory replenishment plans and quantities to be re-ordered from suppliers or to be moved from 3PLs to Amazon FCs following company policies
b) Recommendations for Sea shipments versus air shipments when applicable
3. Identify current and potential inventory shortages, develop and execute recovery, advise stakeholders of status and recovery plans
4. Prepare shipments planning and inventory management dashboard
5. Prepare and analyze out of stock, excess inventory and storage fees reports
6. Communicate effectively with all relevant stakeholders to receive and communicate inventory related information
7. Effectively use and update the ERP system (NetSuite), forecasting tools and Excel inventory trackers
