Job Tasks and Responsibilities

Duties of a web developer include but are not limited to:
- Developing websites and/or themes with WordPress & PHP
- Troubleshooting Wordpress problems
- Proven understanding of Wordpress internals
- Solid knowledge of HTML/CSS
- Bootstrap framework knowledge creating & troubleshooting responsive website
- Experience developing with custom Wordpress plugins
- Good knowledge of Caching and Server network admin experience
- Good Linux knowledge
- Working under tight deadlines
- Handling multiple projects at the same time
- Develop high quality website
Skills and experience
- At least 1-2 years' experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP and WordPress
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Background in developing database-driven, cross-browser, cross-platform web applications
- Solid understanding of PHP and WordPress
- Experience with JavaScript + jQuery and Bootstrap
- Experience working with 3rd party API's
- Strong expertise with HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Experience with SQL (MYSQL preferred)
- Ability to hand code HTML/CSS
- Ability to make a website fully responsive, from desktop to tablet to phone.
- WordPress & Magento experience essential.
- Linux Command Line experience
- Ability to host websites and emails
- Experience with DNS Records
- Attention to detail
Additional Skills Desirable
- Experience working with designs in Photoshop.
- Experience with Shopify development.
- React JS, Node JS and Angular JS experience will be a plus
- Ability to think fast and troubleshoot server-related issues.
- Able to prioritize tasks and organize projects
