Role Definition

• Working as an intermediate, front-end focused, Outsystems Developer
• Working closely with UI/UX Designers to turn prototypes, mock-ups and wireframes into finished product
• Working with various product development streams to ensure standardisation of UI development approach is deployed across all application product functional areas
• Utilise CSS skills to ensure CSS is deployed in the appropriate manner
• Educate other developers into best Front-end development practices and train junior resources into CSS and Javascript coding.
• Work with Functional Analysts on determining best solution to their identified Product requirements.
• Understand and be an advocator of best architectural practices that need to be followed in Product Development.
• Cultivate a strong working relationship with the Technical Team Leads on the project.
• Take ownership of our Outsystems Style Guides (UI patterns, components and themes) – keeping them up to-date and communicate any additions or amendments to the required technical audience.
• Utilise your skillset in advising and developing solutions for the company website.

Key Skills:

• Technical experience in HTML, CSS, Javascript and other web application development technologies
• Experience in working in Agile development teams
• Experience in working with remote developers and functional analysts
• Experience in working with UI/UX Designers
• Experience in using Style Guides and building front-end components
• Good verbal and written English.

Nice to Have:

• Outsystems development knowledge and certification.
• Cloud computing experience.
• Computer Science Academic experience e.g. Computer Science
