Gooline Pvt. Ltd. conducted a full day recruitment activity including employment test and interviews at UMT Lahore campus in collaboration with OCS. The recruitment drive targeted students from the fields of Business Studies and Commerce for the position of Floor Supervisors and Content Writers.
Company representatives from Gooline Pvt. Ltd.; Mr. M. Jawwad Zia (Head of HR), Mr. Fahad Azhar (Senior Business Development Manager) and Mr. Michael Hu (Director Pakistan) conducted the test and interviews.
Before conducting the test, representatives from Gooline Pvt. Ltd presented the company’s overview and briefed the job applicants about future job prospects and job requirements.
Assessment was based on mathematics, english language and analytical questions. The test was conducted during the first half, between 11:30 AM and 12:30 PM and the shortlisted students were interviewed in the second half.
Nineteen (19) candidates participated in the test and fourteen (14) qualified for the interviews.
The shortlisted candidates will be called for the final round of interviews within the next week.
Style Textile

Style Textile conducted a full day recruitment activity (employment test + interviews) at UMT Lahore campus with collaboration with OCS.
Style textile was looking for MTOs from Business, Industrial Engineering and Textile graduates.
Test was based on analytical questions including maths, IQ and vocabulary. The test was taken in the first half from 11 AM to 12 30 PM and then qualified students were interviewed in the second half between 2 PM.
HR representatives of Style Textile including Mr Waqas Saleem and Ms Huma conducted the test activity. The interviews were conducted by Mr Kumudu Galapitage (Group General Manager - Quality Assurance), Mr Shehan (Head Business Improvement) and Mr Naseem Sajid (Dy. General Manager HR).
About 44 (forty four) candidates participated in the test and 28 (twenty eight) qualified for the interviews.
The shortlisted candidates will be called for the final round of interviews within the next week.

Joyland conducted interviews/auditions at UMT Lahore in collaboration with OCS for its upcoming project at Emporium Mall - Bounce. Joyland was looking for CSRs and Interns who were physically fit and more towards athletics.
The interview was more incluned towards long jump and other sport related activities so that candidates can prove their physical strength.
About eleven (11) candidates were auditioned/interviewed by the energetic HR panel of Joyland. Three (03) candidates were shortlisted on spot.
Team Joyland also participated in the Career Fair 2016 to shortlist more candidates whch is why the result is oending till next notice.

Starlet conducted a recruitment test at UMT Lahore in collaboration with OCS. The employment test consisted of numerous questions on MS Excel. Candidates were required to take this test on excel which was shared on the network with all candidates.
The test included scenario based questions for Business Analyst position.
Nine (09) participants appeared for the test.
Team Starlet was helpful enough to assist the candidates throughout the test. Result of this recruitment test will be uploaded in the coming week.

Reem Rice Mills conducted Recruitment test at University of Management and Technology, (UMT). The induction session and employment test was held at UMT Lahore.
Recruitment test includes IQ+ General Knowledge. After a brief introduction of OCS by Zareen Khan (Senior Officer - OCS), Reem Rice representative Maham Asif (HR Manager) introduced Reem Rice to the participants.
Nine (09) female participants appeared for the test from different disciplines.
About 05 (five) candidates qualified the test and were interviewed by the CEO and HR Manager of Reem Rice Mills at the campus right after 03 days of the test. 02 (two) got shortlisted for the final round of interviews where they had to present on a given topic.

EL8 conducted Talent Hunt Drive at University of Management and Technology (UMT) with the facilitation of Office of Career and Services (OCS). EL8, a subsidiary of “BPa8 OOD, Ltd”, a Bulgarian based company, provides project management, training and education services. BPa8 has over 30 years of experience in the training industry. EL8 as a company believes in consultation and deliver project management best practices, financial and risk management concepts, including quality, leadership and much more.
This session was held on Tuesday, October 04, 2016. This Talent Hunt Drive included Basic information about EL8 and BPa8, interacting session with students and interviews of the interested candidates. 18 students attended this drive. After a brief introduction of OCS by Namra Rehman, EL8 representative Hammad Arshad and Country Head Zarlish gave presentation where they introduced EL8 followed by an aggressive session of answer question between participants and representatives of EL8.
They interviewed eighteen (18) candidates from Marketing and HR disciplines of UMT. Students are interviewed for the positions of Marketing & PR Officer, Marketing & PR Executive, Sales Officer, Tele Sales Officer, HR Coordinator/ Officer, Marketing Intern and HR Intern..

Their team conducted an aptitude test of the applicants from UMT on 8 th August, 2016 within the campus.
A number of students belonging to different degree programs like BS Textile Engineering/Management, MBA, and BBA appeared for the test. Company will approach the selected candidates for interview in a few days.
Seventeen (17) participants appeared for the written test.

46 Participants appeared for the test out of which 19 were shorlisted for first round of interviews. About 12 shortlisted for the second rund of interviews held at AIMC campus near Faizpur interchange.

Office of Career Services (OCS) in collaboration with Cake & Bakes conducted an on campus recruitment drive on Friday 3rd June, 2016 for the position of Summer Internship Program. They targeted the participants form Mass Communication, BBA & MBA.
11 participants appeared for the recruitment drive session & out which 6 participants got appointed for the Summer Internship Program.
Tariq Touqeer (Assistant Manager HR) & Hamza Arshad Khokhar (Assistant Manager HR) from Cakes & Bakes conducted the interviews.
Before the company interviews, OCS team conducted a pre interview session with 50+ students on May 30, 2016 at OCS who applied for the internship program, out of which 22 qualified for the company interviews.
Nishat Chunian Group
Nishat Chunian Group in collaboration with OCS conducted an aptitute test as well as interview of those who qualified the test at UMT Lahore. Nishat Chunian targeted MBA Marketing and Finance students clearly for the position of Assistant Manager Marketing on a competitive salary package.
Out of 32 students around 18 students qualified the test and were interviewed by the Assistant Manager HR of Nishat Chunian Group on the same day.
Three (03) students were shortlisted and will be called by Nishat for the panel interview.

Office of Career Services (OCS) in collaboration with Haier Pakistan organized an on campus recruitment drive on Wednesday, May 18, 2016. Haier Pakistan conducted written test (aptitude/GAT based) from the participants of Engineering and Business disciplines for the position of MTO.
Ninety Six (96) participants attended the recruitment drive.
Mr Shahid Alvi (Head HR) along with his team members conducted the written test which was invigilated by OCS Team. They were overwhelmed by the positive response of the participants who showed up for the test.

They interviewed candidates for the position of Producers, Front Desk Assignment Editors and Reporters for their organization. They targeted the participants from Media and Communication.
Twenty Nine (29) participants were interviewed by the panel. About Twenty Four (24) participants have been shortlisted and were called at the City 42 office today for their second interview. They will notify us about the selected students shortly.

Office of Career Services (OCS) in collaboration with UBL Fund Managers conducted an on- campus recruitment drive on Wednesday, 27 April, 2016 at 1n11. UBL Fund Managers offered three competitive positions in their organization for which they have targeted B.Com, M.Com and Business graduates of UMT.
The panel consisted of Ms Sadaf Wajid (Customer Relationship Manager Institutional & Retail Investments), Mr Shoaib Ahmad (Area Manager Institutional & Retail Investments) and Mr Mohammad Hussam Asif (Group Sales Manager/Cirque Advisor Institutional & Retail Investments) from UBL Fund Managers.
Twenty two (22) participants were being interviewed.
Apart from that, OCS also organized an interview skills session before the recruitment drive. This session was conducted by Mr. Jawad Gillani (Director CMD – UMT). He briefed the participants about the particular skills required to excel the interviews and also responded to the queries of the participants.

Berger Paints Ltd. in collaboration with Office of Career Services (OCS) conducted an on-campus recruitment drive at UMT Conference Hall on Friday, 1st April, 2016. Berger Paints Pakistan targeted Male MBA Marketing graduates with CGPA 3.00+ for a competitive position in the company: MTO Marketing.
About fifteen students (15) appeared for the test in a well groomed manner and were highly enthusiastic.
Ms. Sadia Aurengzeb (HR Business Partner, Sales Division) represented Berger Paints Pakistan and briefed participants about the company. She conducted the employement test to start the MTO program's induction process and to further shortlist the participants for interviews. Ms Saadia was then later introduced to the COD of Electrical Engineering Dept. and was also interviewd at UMT Radio Nashar 98.2 with OCS Team and Mr. Mohammad Ahmad Sheikh (Manager, UMT Radio).
At the end, Ms. Yasmeen Butt, representing OCS, conducted an interview skills session for the participants who appeared at the test.

Dunya Media Group conducted a recruitment drive for the position of Trainee Anchor/ Reporter in collaboration with Office of Career Services (OCS) at UMT Conference Hall on February 23, 2016. They targeted fresh graduates and last semester participants.
Eighty Five (85) participants appeared for the interview and audition and few were shortlisted.
The team of Dunya News including Mr. Salman Haider (Senior News Anchor and Producer) along with Ms. Ayesha Zulfiqar (News Anchor) briefed about the company and conducted a quiz session, giving away the souvenirs to the winners. Mr. Hamzah Sohail representing the HR department of Dunya News interviewed and auditioned the participants in the UMT Radio room.
