Corporate Linkages and Placements (OCLP) - UMT organized UMT Annual Career Fair 2024 on Jan 18, 2024.

This was an incredibly amazing event where more than 125 national and international organisations participated to hire University of Management and Technology - UMT students and graduates. Hosting our esteemed guests Samera Shaikh (CEO KTC), Faisal Ejaz Khan (CIO Bank of Punjab), Hafeez Kalim (OrangeLine Rail), Masooma Zeeshan (Co founder Gametrain), Arooj Pirzadeh (Head HR at Nishat Group), Kamran Saeed (Chief Optimizing Officer Digitery), and Faheem Akbar Mian (Director HR DES Group). OCLP is grateful for their valuable contributions.

Important mentions include Dr Naveed Yazdani (Dean HSM UMT), Dr Atif Alvi (Dean SST UMT), Dr Aisha Azhar (Director SGS UMT), and Dr. Fariha Tariq (Dean SAP UMT). Their commitment to students and academics is commendable. The event theme was "Career Redefined" which focused on how the notion of a linear career path is rapidly fading in
the ever-evolving landscape of the professional world.
The topic of our panel discussion was "Managing Career Design" where we discussed differences between Gen Z and Millennials and how one should approach learning and working no matter which generation we belong to. Last but not least, this event couldnot have been done without OCLP and its wonderfully talented team Quratulain Babur,
Sajid Ur Rehman B., Abdul Rahim, Husnain Rasheed, Sumaira Fazal, Saba Mazhar, Neelofur Ayesha, Sidra Tahir, and Adeem
Akram.
