The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) was invited to conduct an insightful session for UMT students regarding career placements in the PAF on 6th Sep, 2024 at UMT. The session provided detailed information about the recruitment process, career opportunities, and the road map for students aspiring to be a part of this prestigious institution. It was an incredibly informative and engaging experience for all attendees.

International Packaging Films Limited

Office of Corporate Linkages and Placements organized a recruitment drive for a Management Trainee Program in collaboration with International Packaging Films Limited  at UMT, MC-03.

Management Trainee Program is a structured, entry-level initiative designed to develop future leaders by providing recent graduates or early-career professionals with comprehensive training in various business functions, including leadership, management, and technical skills. Participants were rotated through UMT SSC - School of Science and UMT SEN - School of Engineering to gain a broad understanding of the organization and its operations. The program aims to accelerate career progression by preparing trainees for advanced managerial roles.

TCL

11th June, 2024

Office of Corporate Linkages and Placements organized a recruitment drive for a MTO program at TCL at MC-03. The MTO Program is designed to provide aspiring graduates with a comprehensive learning experience and a pathway to leadership roles within the organization. As a management trainee, graduates will be exposed to diverse challenges, working closely with seasoned mentors and industry experts in different departments. Students from Dr Hasan Murad School of Management - HSM UMT, UMT SEN - School of Engineering participated in the activity.

Mindstorm Studios

Office of Corporate Linkages and Placements (OCLP) organized a recruitment drive for UMT Students in collaboration with Mindstorm Studios- Summer Program. The Summer Program exposes the students to the game building pipeline including game development, game design and game arts. Through various online live training sessions students would have access to industry experts to learn from. Event was taken place in 1C-17 at 11AM. Students from School of Systems and Technology participated in this activity.

Challenge Apparels Limited

Office of Corporate Linkages and Placements (OCLP) organized a Talent Hunt Drive by Life Challenge Apparels Limited for UMT students, an event designed to foster professional growth and skill development among graduating students and offer students a chance of employment at Challenge Apparel Ltd as a Management Trainee Officers (Ambassador Program). Students from UMT SCA - School of Commerce and Accountancy, UMT SDT - School of Design and Textiles, Dr Hasan Murad School of Management - HSM UMT participated in this activity.

Ireland Education Office

Office of Corporate Linkages and Placements organized a comprehensive session, to provide valuable insights into the educational offerings in Ireland and facilitate student recruitment in collaboration with Ireland Education Office𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗲𝗹 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝘄𝗮𝗿𝘁 from Griffith College Dublin conducted the information session. Mr. Stewart is a distinguished representative of the college, and his presentation covered various aspects of education in Ireland, with a particular focus on the offerings at Griffith College Dublin.

Coca-Cola İçecek Pakistan

Office of Corporate Linkages and Placements organized an induction session in collaboration with Coca-Cola CCI. Coca-Cola İçecek Pakistan was intended to conduct a Campus Drive for their 𝗖𝗖𝗜 𝗡𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 at UMT (1C-17, 11AM). CCI Next Talent is the Flagship Trainee program where the trainees get the opportunity to work in Coca-Cola İçecek, Pakistan for 12 months.

CureMD Asia

Office of Corporate Linkages and Placements (OCLP) organized Recruitment Drive by CureMD Asia. The goal was to engage with final semester students on-campus, focusing on those specializing in medical fields such as DPT, D-Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Zoology, Botany, Biochemistry, and other related Medical disciplines. The aim was to introduce the students to free-of-cost 8-week Medical Billing Bootcamp, an opportunity for hands-on learning and professional development that will lead to a permanent Job based on performance.

Professional Freelancing Training Program (PFTP)

2nd Jan, 2024 

The Office of Corporate Linkages and Placements organized a National Youth Tech Drive in collaboration with the Professional Freelancing Training Program (PFTP).
The purpose of the event was to connect future shapers from all over Pakistan.OCLP encouraged Young Entrepreneurs to bought innovative ideas and participate in the National Idea Competition.
