JAZZ - CEO VISIT TO UMT

Mr. Amir Ibraheem (CEO/President, JAZZ) visited UMT Lahore Main Campus for the first time on April 5, 2018. Dr. Hasan Sohaib Murad (Chairman ILM Trust), Dean SBE, Dean SST, Associate Dean Academics and Internationalization, Director OCS, Principal Secretary to Rector, Manager Career Services and OCS team welcomed Mr. Amir and his team members. OCS-UMT expressed gratitude to Mr. Amir for taking out time from his busy schedule and visiting UMT. We are thankful to Mr. Muhammad Aslam (Rector UMT) to show his availability for the same despite his important appointments.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Amir shared his thoughts about the disruptive innovations and game changers in Telecom & IT industry in the era of industrial revolution 4.0. He thoroughly discussed the recent trends of Data Analytics, AI, Machine Learning, Virtual Reality and the emerging scope of MVNO in Telecom & IT industry. He also shed light on the challenges of industry and academia in driving and inspiring the Millennials in the digital age. In addition to this, he also expounded upon the importance of ideation and industry-academia linkages to promote entrepreneurship among future leaders through an Innovation Eco-System.

Mr. Amir Ibraheem has shown his interest in getting involved with Ideation program of OCS by its subsidiary ICBCC. In the same connection, JAZZ will send their Head of Incubation Centre to UMT to further this initiative. UMT to finalize the things discussed during the meeting.
