Responsibilities
- Define and deliver on organizational-level OKRs and KPIs, enabling operational excellence.
- Manage the daily operations of our UAE business – everything from customer support, driver operations to on-time and in-full (OTIF) deliveries.
- Responsible for managing and mentoring the team leads.
- Solve complex logistical and operational problems to give the best customer and restaurant experience and improve our business model.
- Work with the Head of Operations to develop, implement, and monitor action plans.
- Collaborate with various cross-functional teams to perform key analysis that will impact our overall operations strategy and processes.
- Develop and execute all training related plans and processes.
- Act as an escalation point for key strategic accounts and service providers.
- Cultivate a highly engaged team, setting up opportunities for career development and growth
Requirements
- 4-6 years experience in managing core operations, logistics, supply chain or an equivalent field.
- 2-3 years managerial experience.
- You are excellent with numbers and are comfortable using data to inform your decisions.
- You’re an excel and google sheets pro! Tableau and Metabase experience is a plus.
- You are able to work independently, as well as within a team on complex projects and collaborate with people at all levels inside and outside the organization.
- You have a strong desire to work for and are able to perform well in fast-paced, high-growth start-up environment.
- You have strong analytical, organizational, and prioritizing skills.
- You have great attention to detail and think structurally in identifying opportunities.
- You are able to effectively work with people at all levels inside and outside the organization.
- You are a problem solver.
- You love being challenged and are able to figure things out and make everything better as a result.
- You show ownership. You hate leaving things incomplete and are highly satisfied when a list of tasks is completed.
- You have strong written and verbal communication skills for internal and external stakeholders.
- You manage ambiguity well. We are a rapidly growing startup in various new markets which means that we are constantly finding new and better ways of running the business.
- F&B experience is a plus, understanding and passion for cuisines and food generally is a must Employment Type
