Job Summary
Financial Research Analysts are responsible for tracking insider and politician transactions, major shareholdings, short interest data, share buyback data through company disclosures, and verifying the information through the company’s financial statements. The incumbent is also responsible for finding news relevant to insider transactions through stock exchange announcements, company websites, and other sources.
Key Responsibilities
- To analyze corporate filings, politician’s financial filings, funds activity related to short interest and share buyback programs of the listed companies for relevant insider trading data, politician’s data, short interest data and share buyback data
- Parse out relevant information and place them into the determined classifications in our database using proprietary software
- To collaborate with team members to improve the quality and accuracy of our data and to ensure data integrity
- To provide support in maintaining existing and building new databases of proprietary information

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business (Finance, Accounting)
- 0 - 1 Year Experience (Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply)
- Excellent knowledge of PC, Internet, and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel/Google Sheets
- Fluent in English (Both Written and Spoken)
- Exceptionally good with numbers, solving problems, and familiar with the workings of the investment, equities, and stock market
Additional Skills Required
Attention to detail, analytical skills, and decision-making skills and highly organized with the ability to prioritize and manage projects while adhering to timelines
