Sidat Hyder Morshed is looking for a talented, outgoing and reliable mechanical engineer for the position of Service Manager at one of their clients.

Client's general business is to contract to local, regional and multinational corporations and government bodies to provide tailored solutions for construction and infrastructure projects.

They also have a business segment to supply, install and service various types of industrial doors including sectional, steel and high-speed; and dock levelers equipment.”

Job Responsibilities:

• Schedule the warehouse personnel for installation activities
• Ability to schedule efficiently up to 20 installers/service technicians over different sites simultaneously
• You will be in charge of site coordinators, the technical department
• You will be responsible for technical advice/troubleshooting on the company product lines, mainly industrial doors, roller shutters, high speed doors, sectional doors, loading bay equipment such as dock levellers, dock buffers, dock shelters, wheel lockers, and traffic light systems.
• Keep an accurate log of all job site progress so you can manage technical resources as needed for installations
• Maintain installation tools & equipment
• Keep warehouse and parts room organized
• Perform monthly service reports and
• Keep track of all services to ensure they are billed out properly
• Provide technical support
• Develop relationships with Warehousing Service Decision makers for marketing and managing Service Level Agreements
• Occasional site work which will involve electrical and mechanical Engineering fault finding
• Surveying, estimating, and providing customers with quotations
