Key Responsibilities
- Commercial deal making: To work with the Head of Supply Chain to negotiate commercial deals for B2B & B2C product delivery, including product distribution, product placement and vendor arrangements.
- Database management: To manage databases used by MARJEES to record commercial deals, customer and vendor repository.
- Contracting: To manage all commercial contracting process of MARJES locally & internationally.
- Communication with Production: To communicate with production on the status of sales deals (B2B & B2C) and advise production (Botanicals & Foods) on deliverables while ensuring that production adhere to these requirements, through constant communication with them.
- Delivery materials: To negotiate and make available all packing materials as well as any other material required/necessary for the sale of any & all MARJEES products locally & internationally.
- Targets and forecasting: To forecast commercial income and meeting commercial targets, while keeping the supply chain head in the loop.
- Research: To undertake research projects and business analysis on different existing products, forecasted products and Greenfield products as well as market information where required by the Supply Chain Head.
SALES
- Keeping in contact with existing customers in person and by phone
- Making appointments with and meeting new customers
- Agreeing sales, prices, contracts and payments
- Meeting sales targets
- Promoting new products and any special deals
- Advising customers about delivery schedules and after-sales service
- Recording orders and sending details to the sales office
- Giving feedback on sales trends
MARKETING
You'll contribute to and develop integrated marketing campaigns to promote MARJEES product range and service, which requires:
- planning
- advertising (Print & Social Media)
- public relations
- event organization
- product development
- distribution
- sponsorship
- research.
- create awareness of and develop the brand you're marketing
- communicate with target audiences and build and develop customer relationships
- help with marketing plans, advertising, direct marketing and campaigns
- support the marketing manager in delivering agreed activities
- source advertising opportunities and place adverts in the press or on the radio
- work closely with in-house or external creative agencies to design marketing materials such as brochures and adverts
- write and proofread marketing copy for both online and print campaigns
- produce creative content, including videos and blog posts
- run social media channels (e.g. Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn) to enhance audience engagement
- organise and attend events such as conferences, seminars, receptions and exhibitions
- source and secure sponsorship
- liaise with designers and printers and organise photo shoots
- arrange the effective distribution of marketing materials
- maintain and update customer databases
- conduct market research, for example using customer questionnaires and focus groups
- develop relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external.
Customer Services
- Offer customer support and oversee the customer service process.
- Resolving customer complaints coming in person or via emails, on all/any MARJEES Social Media platforms and came to your attention.
- Conducting quality assurance surveys with customers and providing feedback to the head of supply chain/management.
- Possessing excellent product knowledge to enhance customer support.
- Maintaining a pleasant personality outlook.
