This position executes the onshore deliverables of statops and support the execution of offshore ones and associated project work for the country. This includes understanding and representing the local market conditions in the operations processes, as well as executing the local country “onshore” work. This entails engaging and coordinating with local partners like MSci (measurement science), GO (global operations) and DA (data acquisition) to ensure smooth hand-offs in operations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Executes and manages the onshore deliverables of Stat-Ops for the assigned region. Onshore deliverables will be execution work that requires a local presence such as aspects of universe estimation, sample design, data queries that entails local inspection, contacts, or language.
  • Maintains project work discipline in the centrally managed project trackers, with regular reporting outs to PMO and other relevant stakeholders
  • Serve as an SME (subject matter expert) to the projects offshore teams and act as there reference for technical and methodological issues
  • For offshored deliverables, act as a coordinator with the team to ensure smooth, quality and timely delivery
  • Manages local engagement with MSci, GO and DA for assigned projects
  • Serves as a “touch point” for local deliverables and on select operations and associated project work and to investigate data inquiries / challenges with local teams, offshore operations, and practice transformation for processes / methods issues.

Role Requirements

  • 1-2 years of quantitative analysis work experience
  • Experience projects related roles either as a manager or core team member
  • Working knowledge of SQL and database structures
  • Working knowledge of commercial statistical/ analytical packages is preferrable
