Job Description
1. Good understanding of VoIP protocols, codecs and overall technology
2. Work with team to support production system and provide L1 support for VoIP
devices and servers, service quality, redundancy of voice paths and application-level
issues.
3. Basic to advance level experience to work on Linux based servers
4. Basic to advance level experience to work on Asterisk based setup
5. Basic understanding of call routes, dial plan and trunks.
6. Keen to learn latest technologies for improving Telephony infrastructure
7. Spot problem trends as they emerge. Reduce overall numbers of problems through
effective root cause analysis and long-term fixes
8. Analyze, evaluate, and prioritize workload with priority to production impacting issues
9. This is a 24/7 shift and candidate will be expected to work in three different shifts on
rotational basis and will also be expected to work on weekends and public holidays.
