Due to water scarcity and the chances of increasing the annual factory running time, it has proven worthwhile to consider an integrated beet & cane processing in sub-tropical regions such as DI Khan, Pakistan. The concept of the project is based on the fact that the mill runs for a longer period of time being a multiple feedstock unit (sugarcane and sugar beet). As a dynamic processing facility, Almoiz has proven to be highly efficient, producing surplus fuel (excess bagasse) during sugarcane crushing season to cater the need for sugar beet slicing season.
