Required Skills:

• Sound knowledge of operating systems and computer architecture.
• Knowledge of Linux kernel building and booting will be a plus.
• Knowledge of building open source package will also add value.
• Passion to work in open source community.
• Quick learner.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Job Responsibilities:

• The engineer will be working on Mentor Embedded Linux.
• Main responsibilities will be:
  • Integration of Linux BSPs and creating recipes for building open source packages to bring in file system for a BSP and configuration of the packages in different way.
  • Verification of final BSP and providing it’s support and maintenance.
  • Reviewing of documents that will be released with MEL BSP.
  • Will also be working in (open source) Yocto Project.
