Content Developer Responsibilities

• Research ideas and facts pertinent to the type of content/topic assigned
• Develop ideas derived from online/offline research and organize the same for digital and print consumption
• Come up with fresh and unique ideas based on research and brainstorming by following instructions provided for each platform and media
• Develop engaging content for articles, blogs, stories and social media to entice and engage audience
• Proofread content for errors or additions and ensure that content is written per instructions
• Ensure that web page content is edited properly to increase on-screen readability
• Think up titles for each piece of content keeping appropriateness in check
• Copy, edit and proofread content created by other content writers to provide detailed feedback
• Manage user-generated content on clients’ social media platforms
• Manage the company’s social media presence
• Repurpose and optimize existing content for digital channels
• Rewrite, paraphrase or write content from scratch depending on specific instructions provided in the work order

Required Competencies

• Excellent overall writing skills in a number of different styles/tones
• Impeccable spelling and grammar
• A deep understanding of consumers and what motivates them online
• Good research, organizational, and learning skills
• High comprehension of software like Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Google Docs
• Personal interest and activity on social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, Snapchat, Pinterest, Google + and Twitter
• Understand and experience with online marketing and lead generation is a plus

Education and Experience

• Minimum educational requirement is Graduation preferably in a Mass Communication, Media Studies or Journalism major.
• No minimum experience requirement

• Starting salary at PKR20,000 – PKR25,000 with a PKR5,000 increase after successful completion of 3 month probation periodAnnual bonus payout
