Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support with in-house policy research (primary and secondary) on microfinance sector in Pakistan. This includes writing concept notes, literature review, writing research papers, conducting IDIs, FGDs etc
• Manage and administer research projects, including liaison with consultants, research agencies and other stakeholders, ensuring completion
• Assist in preparing and submitting project proposals to various partner organizations to secure funding for research projects
• Provide support in organizing events, meetings and consultative workshops on research initiatives
• Coordinate with microfinance providers, consultants and other organizations on information exchange
• Edit and compile research papers for publication

Who should apply?

Education and Experience:

• Minimum of 1-2 years of work experience;
• Prior experience of field work for research (qualitative or quantitative) will be an advantage;
• Experience of authoring/ co-authoring research papers will be an added advantage;
• Experience of proposal writing will be an added advantage;
• Familiarity with the microfinance sector would be preferred.

• Willingness to travel domestically
• Good knowledge of impact evaluation methods either through coursework or work experience
• Ability to differentiate between and analyze qualitative and quantitative data
• Experience in data collection and survey monitoring will be an added advantage
